Hand to Mouth, sheds light on the poverty in Lawrence, Kansas through a conceptual work that makes tangible the quantity of people living 'hand to mouth' in Lawrence, Kansas. The work, completed during a project based residency at the Lawrence Art Center is composed of 19,070 pieces of fired porcelain that were individually formed and bitten by the artist and then installed in the center's gallery.
